Phase III Mixed Use Campus Completion

Phase III will be the final phase of construction completing our 10 ace intergenerational campus. This 33,000-square-foot, mixed-use development will feature two connected spaces designed to expand our housing, programs, and community impact.

Residential Building

The Residential Building will provide 21 new one story apartment homes for low-income seniors and young adults transitioning out of foster care, including an independent living pilot program designed to help young adults build the skills, stability, and support they need as they transition into adulthood. Young adults transitioning into adulthood will live in their own homes with a neighboring Resident Assistant living on campus. These young adults will be partnered with Village seniors in mentoring relationships. They will also be matched with middle-school-aged Village youth, for whom they will become mentors as well. Three generations of mentoring surrounded by a 10-acre campus designed to heal, connect, and support. The Residential Building will also have two small community living rooms for small group meals, movie viewings, prayer groups, and other resident gatherings.

Affordable Housing Services Building

The adjoining Affordable Housing Services Building will create new opportunities for healing, connection, and growth. It will feature dedicated spaces for art, music, and behavioral therapy, fitness space, a food pantry and donation center, and expanded program office and conference space. A large event space for gatherings of up to 300 people will be built including a community kitchen and stage (for children’s performances).

With Phase III, we’re creating new opportunities for generations to find a home, build meaningful connections, and thrive.

Honoring Sister Claire’s Love of Learning

Sister Claire, New Life Village’s founder, was an educator at heart. Before her passing in the fall of 2026, some of her greatest joy came from tutoring the children of New Life Village, sitting beside them as they learned, grew, and gained academic confidence. To honor her memory, the new Services Building will bear her name and feature a public art mural depicting her tutoring children. It is a fitting tribute to a woman who believed every child deserved the opportunity to reach their full potential.

Inside the Services Building, dedicated program space will include art and music therapy rooms where residents can express themselves, build confidence, and connect with others. For children impacted by foster care and trauma, these spaces will offer creative ways to explore emotions and experience healing right in their own backyard. As Phase III completes the campus Sister Claire envisioned, her dream of a community where children, families, and seniors find love, support, and belonging will continue for generations to come.

Therapy Space

Our dedicated therapy space will provide a quiet, welcoming setting for children and caregivers to feel safe, heard, and supported. Designed to accommodate individual and family sessions, it will create opportunities to connect residents with care, strengthen relationships, and build coping skills within the comfort of their own community.

Music Therapy Room

From learning an instrument to making music together, this room will give residents opportunities to share their talents and find joy through music. Designed for individual practice, lessons, and group activities, it will support new skills and connections across generations while offering another way to express emotions.

Art Therapy Room

For children impacted by foster care and trauma, putting feelings into words can be difficult. Through painting, drawing, and hands-on creativity, residents will have opportunities to explore those feelings at their own pace. The art therapy room will encourage self-expression, build confidence, and give residents a place to discover what they can create.

Community Gathering Room

From shared meals and holiday celebrations to youth performances, this space will bring Village residents together. With a stage and community kitchen, it will offer a welcoming place for families, seniors, neighbors and program partners to celebrate milestones, share their talents, and build friendships across generations

Academic Tutoring Room

The tutoring room will give Village youth a dedicated place to receive homework help, strengthen reading and math skills, and grow in academic confidence. Volunteers and tutors will provide individual and small-group support, helping children work through challenges and feel proud of their progress.

Fitness Center

The fitness center will give residents a welcoming place to stay active and care for their health close to home. With equipment for strength, cardio, and gentle movement, it will support young adults, caregivers, and seniors in building healthy routines and working toward their personal goals.
