New Life Village has the privilege of a partnership with the University of South Florida’s School of Architecture and Community Design and the School of Social Work.

Students in the School of Architecture and Community Design are collaborating with NLV’s staff, resident and Board of Directors to create a master plan for our 12 acre campus. They have already designed and built the Village’s new splash pad and community garden funded by the Hillsborough County Affordable Housing Services.

Students, under the leadership of Professor Josue Robles are designing Phase III of the campus development including a multi-purpose mixed use building and Pepin Academies Transition Program Campus, a one bedroom dormitory style residential expansion, and a comprehensive campus improvement plan including a piazza, joined sidewalks, a bike locker, enhanced landscaping and campus storage

New Life Village is proud to partner with the University of South Florida’s School of Social Work to bring two interns to our campus this spring! These individuals are studying to obtain their Master’s in Social Work. We are blessed to have trauma expert, Loryn Smith, MSW of Finally Home Adoption Services on our NLV Program Committee to help us make this internship meaningful for the students while also providing our residents with additional support and expedited services.
